First, it is with enormous relief that I celebrate the election of Kamala Harris to the Vice Presidency of the United States – and that Joe Biden guy, too. This week has lasted both an age and managed to skip straight from Tuesday to Saturday.
January 21 is light years away, but there’s a runoff election for both of Georgia’s U.S. Senators, and while I know we’re all exhausted by elections, this one is a Big. Fucking. Deal because it could take the Senate Majority from Mitch McConnell’s power-grubbing hands. Stacey Abrams and her team of organizers and activists have been doing incredible work, so if you have a few coins to spare, toss them their way at FairFight.com.
